Dr. Scarborough is Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine, and in Internal Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Medicine by the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. She has been in practice for 11 years and is the current Medical Director of Palliative Care at Penn Medicine – Lancaster General Health System. She is also the Associate Professor of Palliative Medicine at the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute Penn Medicine-Lancaster General Health System, Lancaster, PA.
Dr. Scarborough has File Review Experience in disability and catastrophic reviews, and utilization reviews. Her special skills include assessing disability and recovery potential from multiple serious illnesses (cancer, congestive heart failure, chronic lung disease, COVID, neurologic disorders, dementia, etc),
