Dr. Christopher Schneider, MD, FACS is a Board Certified General Surgeon. He earned his Medical Degree from the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH and completed his residency in General Surgery from General Surgery Residency, Greenville Hospital System Univ Med Center, Greenville, SC. Dr. Schneider has 15 years of clinical experience and is an Assistant Professor of Surgery. His interests include treatment of complex abdominal hernias, robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques and their application to surgery, and treatment of common surgical diseases of the colon, gallbladder, inguinal and ventral hernias, and other abdominal organs. Additionally he specializes in diseases of the stomach and hiatal/paraesophageal hernias and their repair.
