Dr. Chakrabarty is a board certified Internal Medicine physician with experience working in an Urgent Care setting, in a residential addiction medicine facility as well as working as a general hospitalist. He has been published in a wide range of studies that have involved various aspects of Internal Medicine as well as Head and Neck Surgery in addition to Ophthalmology. His professional research has included studies on wound healing, cutaneous virology, and chronic disease. He has participated in both NIH sponsored research as well as privately funded projects. He has participated in several clinical trials of different vaccines and is well versed in the protocols used to obtain informed consent and the required institutional safeguards requited to be implemented within the trials. His many years working as a hospitalist in multiple inpatient facilities have provided him a strong background in Standard of Care practices within the specialty of inpatient internal medicine. His wide range of experience makes him uniquely qualified to advise on complex cases where Internal Medicine intersects with other medical specialties.
