Dr. Ashley Leak Bryant is a distinguished nursing leader, clinician, educator, and researcher with over 22 years of experience. She holds dual certifications in oncology (since 2005) and gerontological nursing (since 2009). She has an Interdisciplinary Certificate in Aging (since 2011) and is a recognized Fellow of both the Gerontological Society of America (inducted 2018) and the American Academy of Nursing (inducted 2020).
Dr. Bryant specializes in gero-oncology and palliative care, providing expert care for adults and older adults with and without cancer who require symptom management, psychosocial support, and palliative interventions. Her diverse clinical experience spans continuing care retirement communities, academic cancer centers, home health, and hospice care.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Bryant is an End of Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) Trainer, helping to advance palliative and end-of-life care education. For the past decade, she has conducted legal reviews, including medical record evaluations and depositions for both plaintiffs and defendants.
