Dr. Brad Poppie, DPT, CBIS, CLCP, CFCE, CSCS, is a nationally recognized medical-legal expert witness specializing in personal injury, brain injury, and rehabilitation. Based in Denver, Colorado, Dr. Poppie has over 25 years of experience serving both plaintiff and defense attorneys as a treating physical therapist and retained expert in trial and mediation.
He holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado and a Master of Physical Therapy from Gannon University. Dr. Poppie earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine from Colorado State University, along with minors in Anatomy and Neurobiology. He is credentialed as a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS), Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP), Certified Functional Capacity Evaluator (CFCE), and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
Dr. Poppie has provided expert witness services in hundreds of cases involving traumatic brain injuries, catastrophic injuries, and orthopedic impairments. He collaborates closely with attorneys, case managers, vocational experts, economists, and physicians to deliver clear, objective reports that support fair case resolution and meet litigation standards.
