From 07/1998 to 12/2000 Dr. Torres was Staff Pathologist, Assistant Professor and Director of the Gastrointestinal-Liver Pathology Division at Herrman Hosp-UTHSC in Houston, TX.
From 01/2001 to 03/2012, Dr. Torres was Staff Pathologist and Director of Quality Assurance at Caris/Miraca LifeSciences, in Dallas TX, in which Dr. Torres was instrumental in creating a rather unique model of GI subspecialty-focused laboratory, which during his 12 years tenure became one of the largest private national Anatomic Pathology laboratories.
Dr. Torres contributed to the success and growth of the operation, with the principle of providing the highest standards of patient care and service to GI clinicians.
From 05/2012 to 05/2015, Dr. Torres was Staff Pathologist at the Anatomic Pathology Division of the North-Shore-LIJ Health Care System in New York.
From 01/2018 to 12/2018 Dr. Torres was Per Diem Staff Pathologist at the Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology Division of Univ of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont.
From 01/2019 to 12/2019 Dr. Torres was Per Diem Staff Pathologist at the Gastrointestinal Pathology Division of Boston Scientific Laboratory in Atlanta, Georgia.
Since 01/2016, Dr. Torres is Staff Pathologist at the Anatomic Pathology Division of Alliance Health Sciences, a private multispecialty laboratory in Dallas and Houston, TX.
Since 01/2001, Dr. Torres is the sole proprietor of Expert Pathology Consultation Service, PLLC which provides diagnostic surgical pathology services to multiple ambulatory surgical clinics and endoscopy centers from several states as well as providing Expert Witness services nationwide.
