    Dr. Fardad Baroumand, MD, is a distinguished medical-legal evaluator in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He is the designated evaluator for these fields by ExamWorks Inc., the largest national provider of Independent Medical Evaluations. He is also a prominent California State Qualified Medical Evaluator and a member of the Division of Workers Compensation (DWC) Subject Matter Expert Panel and the Report Quality Panel, which oversees and promotes the quality of medical-legal reporting in the State.

    Workers compensation judges have repeatedly appointed Dr. Baroumand as the medical-legal evaluator in complex cases that other evaluators could not handle.

    Dr. Baroumand graduated in the top 10 percentile of his medical school in 1997 and completed his specialty training at Columbia University and the Medical College of Wisconsin. He then completed subspecialty training at the University of Washington (Seattle), one of the US's most prominent Pain Medicine organizations, where he served as the Chief Fellow overseeing five other specialists. He has achieved numerous awards for clinical excellence and research, a top score in California medical-legal evaluators' qualifying exam, and the highest quality standards in Utilization Review.
