Dr. Mandeep Sidhu is a board-certified internal medicine physician with a strong commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care across diverse patient populations. She currently serves as a primary care physician with WelbeHealth and also works as a hospitalist for Kaiser Permanente, focusing on comprehensive care for older adults and medically complex patients.
Dr. Sidhu earned her medical degree from the UC Davis School of Medicine, following her undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. She completed her internal medicine residency at UCSF Fresno, where she developed a broad clinical skill set and cultivated a strong interest in quality improvement and community health.
During residency, Dr. Sidhu co-led a quality improvement project focused on implementing efficient rheumatoid arthritis disease activity monitoring in a high-volume clinic, earning first place recognition at UCSF Fresno’s QI competition. Her scholarly activities also include presentations at national conferences and prior research in reproductive endocrinology.
With a professional background spanning outpatient primary care, skilled nursing, and inpatient care, Dr. Sidhu brings a patient-centered, culturally responsive approach to clinical practice. She has extensive experience managing chronic disease, promoting preventive health, and coordinating care for medically complex patients.
Dr. Sidhu is deeply invested in community service and mentorship. She has served in leadership roles with the Shifa Community Clinic and the REACH San Joaquin Valley initiative, helping to mentor pre-medical and high school students from underserved backgrounds. She also has international volunteer experience, having coordinated rural health screenings and education programs in Punjab, India.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Sidhu is an active member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, and California Medical Association. She is fluent in Punjabi and proficient in Hindi and Urdu, which further enhances her ability to connect with patients from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
