Martha is currently working at the CW Young Veterans Administration Medical Center in Bay Pines, Florida as a Surgical Nurse Practitioner and First Assistant. She has been a critical care nurse and graduate of the University of California San Francisco and its Medical Center’s prestigious Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit.
Martha has co-authored various publications. Most recently, she has co-authored the chapter on Life Care Planning for the 4th Edition of the Legal Nurse Consulting: Principles and Practices for the AALNC.
Martha holds dual degrees. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Certified Case Manager, Certified Disability Management Specialist, Certified Nurse Life Care Planner, Certified Perioperative Registered Nurse, Certified Legal Nurse Consultant and Certified Life Care Planner.
She is a graduate of the University of California with a Master’s of Science in Critical Care Trauma Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. In addition, she is a Certified Critical Care Nurse, Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse, Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist and Board-Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Ms. Beach holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice and has reviewed hundreds of legal cases regarding nursing standards of care.
Ms. Beach has developed hundreds of Life Care Plans since 1994. Ms. Beach has both extensive experience from a plaintiff and defense case review and perspective. Importantly, Ms. Beach gained tremendous knowledge while working and serving as an officer for the General Reinsurance Corporation, a Berkshire Hathaway Company.
