- Over two decades of experience in patient care, spanning private practice, community hospitals, and academic settings. Currently engaged in clinical practice, including newborn hospital medicine, pediatric hospital medicine, and level II neonatal intensive care.

- Award winning teacher as Associate Professor at several medical schools including George Washington University, University of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.
- Leadership experience as Chief of Pediatric medical staff, section chief, medical director, and committee chair.
