Garrett Blumberg, MD, FACEP is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP), reflecting his commitment to excellence in emergency care. He hold a board-certified Focused Practice Designation in Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasonography (AEMUS). Dr. Blumberg earned his medical degree from Georgetown University and completed both Emergency Medicine residency and Ultrasound fellowship at UT Southwestern, where he served as the Academic Chief Resident.
His clinical experience spans Level I Trauma, Stroke, and STEMI centers as well as resource-limited critical access hospitals—providing a deep understanding of variable standards, workflows, and resource constraints in emergency care.
Dr. Blumberg is a published author of peer-reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters on emergency topics including agitation management, atrial fibrillation, and soft tissue infections such as necrotizing fasciitis, cellulitis, and abscesses. He has lectured nationally and regularly teaches on key emergency medicine and ultrasound topics.
