Lauren Kane, MD., is a triple board-certified physician in general surgery, adult cardiothoracic surgery, and congenital heart surgery. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Houston Medical School and completed residencies from the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, USC (Congenital Cardiac Surgery Fellowship), Emory University (Cardiothoracic Surgery) and University of Texas Southwestern Dallas ( General Surgery).
Dr. Kane is licensed to practice in Florida and Texas. She is an Associate Professor, Department of Surgery, at the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. She also performs all aspects of congenital heart surgery, and management of patients perioperatively. She was previously employed as Associate Professor, Department of Surgery at Children’s Hospital of New Orleans, LA.
