Marc Evans is nationally recognized human trafficking expert and a retired 30-year veteran lieutenant with the Los Angeles Police Department, who is a subject matter expert in human trafficking, pimping, pandering, and prostitution related crimes. As the Officer-in-Charge of LAPD's Human Trafficking Task Force, Marc has conducted over 12,000 investigations and has testified in Federal, State, Administrative and Municipal court. Marc is the Author of "Selling The Daughters of America." He also authored training materials and taught human trafficking courses to approximately 7,000 officers throughout the United States and Canada. Some of the agencies Marc has trained include the FBI, US Navy, Los Angeles Police Department, Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department, UCLA School of Law and many other state and federal agencies.
Marc has been extensively involved with high profile human trafficking cases that involved some of the world's largest businesses which includes hotel brands, massage parlors, military officials, car manufacturers, etc., that were involved in human trafficking related civil litigation. Marc has extensive experience and knowledge in all aspects of human trafficking, including labor trafficking, sex trafficking, pimping, pandering, prostitution, undercover operations, vice investigations, and massage parlors among many other aspects of law enforcement.
