Leslie Smart has 50 (fifty) years of experience in trucks, truck equipment, related equipment, distribution by truck and tractor trailer (conventional and Hazmat), specifications, procurement, vehicle safety, DOT regulations-compliance, operations, risk management, tires, truck maintenance (internal & by contract both with Penske & Ryder) and driver safety, training, behavior & monitoring. His experience also includes leasing of all types including full service leases and managing a fleet through a fleet management company. Responsibilities included the management of fleets of up to 5,500 vehicles in number.
As an expert witness, Mr. Smart has worked equally with defendants and plaintiffs specializing in personal injury related to trucking, truck litigation, driver safety, fleet management, corporate fleet management, and operations.
